Conditions of Use
- Private bookings must be paid for in full at least 14 days prior to the event. The booking is then deemed as confirmed.
- All Private bookings for teenagers and adults are subject to a returnable deposit of £50 in addition to the fee to be held against any possible damage caused at the venue. Damage in excess of this sum would also have to be paid for by the Hirer.
- Invoices for bookings are raised at the beginning of the relevant month.
- Cancellations of individual bookings can only be accepted without charge at least 7 days before the event.
- Invoices are calculated on the charges applicable at the time of use. A schedule of current charges is displayed on the Somerford Hall notice-board. Copies available on request from THA Reception and on the Association’s website.
- THA reserves the right to withdraw the use of the facility, at any time, if in its opinion, it is unfit for use. The hire fee will be refunded or alternative dates offered, but THA accepts no liability for any other expenditure incurred or loss sustained by the Hirer.
- The Hirer shall adhere to the agreed booking times to ensure that subsequent users are not deprived of their full allotment of time.
- The sale of alcoholic beverages is strictly prohibited.
- THA reserves the right to alter its scale of charges at any time.
- The Hirer shall ensure that the use of the facilities does not cause a nuisance, annoyance or disturbance, and that persons using the Hall act in a responsible manner at all times.
