New Repairs Contract
From 1 April 2009 the Sovereign Services Direct Labour Organisation (DLO) will manage our repairs and maintenance contract instead of Mears. We have been very pleased with the standard of work that Mears has provided, but one of the reasons for joining the Sovereign Housing Group was to become more efficient and provide services that are better value for money.
The DLO already provides a high quality service to Sovereign Housing Association residents. Very little will change in the way you report your repairs and many of the faces you see will stay the same as staff from Mears will transfer to the DLO to carry out the contract. A big benefit is that when you report your repair you will be able to make an appointment straight away within a time slot that is convenient to you.
